Description: Chinese Song Dynasty Qingbai 'Fish' Dish A small Chinese Song dynasty Qingbai dish, the centre with two fish among aquatic plants and the cavetto with a further three fish among waves. The dish is covered inside and out in a pale ice-blue glaze leaving just the rim uncovered (the unglazed rim is characteristic of the process of inverted firing or 'fushao', which also results in a completely glazed base). Measures 10.5cm in diameter at the rim and 2.2cm tall. There is a historical repair to a section of the rim, approximately 3cm long, and one hairline crack. Please see all photos for confirmation of condition.
