Shoulders of vase have iron red lion rings with gold, rim retains original Aventurine gold shimmering gilt. The reverse side of the vase features a beautiful panel of calligraphy, possibly by the renowned Shen Zigeng, which references the teachings of poetry and origins, adding an extra layer of historical and artistic significance. This masterpiece is believed to have been made in Zhuhai, Jiangki Province, situated adjacent to Jingdezhen, renowned for its fine porcelain production.
