Chevy 427 496 BBC Camaro Chevelle SS Race Rebuilt Engine

Description: Hello, This auction is for a completely rebuilt 427cid big block Chevy engine. This is a 4 bolt main mark IV block. The work done to this engine is as follows: 1. Engine block has been oven cleaned and magnafluxed. This block has no cracks damage or repair. Block has been freshly bored and torque plate moly honed. It is .060 on the bore with no sleeves.block has been line bored and square deck and is blue printed!! 2. Connecting rods are pro comp H beam 7/16 rods with floating pins. Crankshaft is a 6223 forging and it has been freshly reground .010 on the mains and rods or with come with a Scat crankshaft depending on inventory. Pistons are new Wiseco forged pistons. These pistons yield a 10.50:1 compression ratio. The complete reciprocating assembly has been balanced within 1 gram. 3. Short block has been assembled with all new top quality components. King rod main and cam bearings, Cloyes double roller timing chain and gears, and Speed Pro hydraulic lifters. Camshaft is an Elgin industries E1218P. This cam is .540 lift and 225 duration AT.050, ground on 110 degree lobe centers.New dura bond cam bearings, new brass freeze plugs, new head bolts, new cam bolts, 4. Cylinder heads are brand new ProComp aluminium rectangle port. Heads have been assembled with new Qual Cast 2.25x1.88 stainless steel valves with 11/32 stems not 3/8, Competition cams double valve springs with chromoly retainers and 7 degree locks. New 7/16 rocker studs and new chromoly pushrods have been installed along with a set of new Pro-comp 1.7 Stainless roller rockers.Heads are installed with 12 point chromoly head bolts with Teflon tape.. 5. Engine does not come with oil pump, oil pan, timing cover and harmonic balancer. This engine is ready to install in a vehicle and run. 6 This engine will dyno at 535HP and is a real fun combination to drive on pump gas, it is a street friendly engine with a beast for power and famous hard running 427!!!
