Description: Lovely statement piece for your dining room or kitchen. Likely made in continental Europe but possibly British. It could be used for serving any number of baked treats, cheese and crackers, or would be nice for serving any hors d'oeuvres. The figures are beautifully executed and the piece is entirely hand painted. My favorite feature is how they painted the platform the figures are sitting on to resemble marble. It’s hard to even see that area, yet they put great care into painting it. The craftsmanship was done by a good porcelain firm but for whatever reason it seems to have not been marked. It appears to be 20th century production but could be earlier. Condition is immaculate. It stands 8” tall with the top being 7”x11”. Ships ASAP! Thanks Screenshots show some similar examples.
