Description: CHARLES FIELD HAVILAND GDA FRANCE PLATTER This platter is 12" end to end and 8" wide. The pattern is lavender bows holding swags of bright pink roses with a rose between each lavender bow. There is also a circle of green leaves just inside the rim. The rim and the handles were gold trimmed although much of the gold has worn off of the edge and some on the handles. Looks like this platter was passed around the table often. The plate is free of crack, chips or discoloring and only has a couple of utensil marks which are hard to see. On the bottom there is a chip on the edge that the plate rests on. Will never be a problem or even be seen by your company or family. I have tried to find the dates when this was manufactured. I did find the the GDA/FRANCE was started in 1900 but could not find the Haviland mark. Also selling some other items from this set. Ask if interested. P 24125
