The lid and foot rim are pewter. This stein has a generous capacity of a full liter (1000 milliliters/33.8 fluid ounces), with plenty of headspace for foam. This piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. The underside of the stein is signed with incised initials that look like KZ. Inside the lid are the letter IH (or HI, depending on orientation).
