Description: Although I've owned the spool for several years, it has never been fished. It is in mint condition. There is an appropriate leader on the spare spool. Note that it can handle up to 10wt lines, but is currently loaded with intermediate 8wt. sinking line. Special note here: Mako no longer makes their spare spools in a high gloss finish. This one is matte black, and the handle is black plastic or graphite. The case is nylon with a raised leather logo. Selling this item because it does no good sitting in a drawer. I thought in my retirement years I'd be bone or striper fishing, but it hasn't worked out that way, so some lucky person will have this and hopefully use it as intended. Retail, fully loaded, the spool and line near the $600 mark.
