Description: This is a lovely blue slag milk glass plate with lace edge. The pattern, Scroll & Eye, is attributed to Challinor Taylor and Company and is referred to as no. 100. In 1955 Fenton Art Glass released their own Scroll & Eye design. This was sold to me as Challinor Taylor purchased long ago at a California estate auction along with the big and beautiful pitcher I have up for auction. This plate is 8 and 1/8 inches across. The sunburst pattern on bottom is raised, a few of the very end points have chipped as pictured. The irregular color is due the fact that slag glass was used. The inside of the "eyes" has a stippled effect. This plate is old enough to be called antique, and considering that it is in amazing condition. As-is. Please ask questions.
