Description: This sale is for an antique C. F. Monroe American Cut Glass Ship Decanter. This decanter would have been used by a ship's captain. It measures 6 1/4" tall including the stopper. It measures 7" in diameter at the widest part. There are not flaws to this decanter. There is a residue in the bottom. I have not tried to remove it, I will leave that to the new owner. The residue can only be seen when held up to the light and looking toward the bottom from the spout. The number "1" is etched in both the decanter and the stopper. Six notches in the handle. A fantastic piece to own!
