This artifact is 600-1,000 years old and still has an almost perfect balance when suspended from the center cord.Incised (engraved) thin, black stone beam (on both sides) with each side featuring 4 crouching long-tailed zoomorphic motifs (8 incised figures total).Delicate and fragile intact textile net scales attach to the balance beam on each end, with a textile cord in the middle for suspension (in ancient times this may have hung from a tree).
