Description: This is a must have for any collector of Egyptian artifacts. This shibti is in amazing condition even though it was repaired (professionally) and mounted. The hieroglyphics on the front of the shibti reads "IMR" and is inscribed for an overseer. There is still some blue pigment on this figure. The Egyptians were one of the only ancient civilization to use Blue pigment known to history. The Shibti measures 80mm or about 3" tall and about 4" on the mount.
