Description: CEM72015 1/72 GPU-2 /XN-1 20MM Gun Pod for OV-10A kits.Please read through full description: The GPU-2 / XN-1 gun pod was tested and fielded on the OV-10A Bronco during the Vietnam War. The pod was developed to incorporate the Colt 20MM cannon like commonly used on other aircraft of that era like the F-8 Crusader and A-4 Skyhawk.This set provides enough parts to build two 1/72 replicas of the gun pod.This set is designed for the ICM 1/72 OV-10A kit but might be able to be retro fitted to other earlier released kits like Testors. Features:-Raised and recessed panel line, rivet and vent details.-Open shell ejection ports. Some drilling on the kit centerline pylon will be needed to mount the pod made accordingly dependent on modelers preference. Pylon should be drilled for 14 scale inches apart (.194") and pinned with suitable wire or styrene. Use Cyanocrylate glue to adhere parts. Wear dust mask protection when sanding.
