We're not sure what these were intended for as they are cut at an unusual angle theta = 45, phi = 0. The crystals are polished on 4 sides and do not appear to be coated. Most likely it's broadband polarizer and mode selector for multi-line lasers. LBO is negative biaxial birefringent crystal. The way it's cut is to maximize the spatial beam separations of orthogonal polarizations of the incident light. Placing of such crystal configuration inside laser cavity allows more stable multiline laser generation from a single active media crystal as well as simple and effective mode selection.
