Description: Cassiterite, Schorl, Wavellite Gunheath China Clay Pit, Stenalees, Treverbyn, Cornwall, England, UK 4 x 4.5 x 5 cm, 65.9 grams This is a nice grouping of relatively large (>5mm) cassiterite crystals on granitic matrix from the historic tin mines of Cornwall. One crystal has a spray of schorl tourmaline crystals crossing its top face. Patchy, thin crusts of off-yellow wavellite cover most faces of the host rock. Nice hand sample from a historic European locality. Ex. NM Tech I'm streamlining my eBay listing process by not including new locality write-ups here. I will include some in the future, but it takes too much time. ShippingDomestic shipping via USPS priority flat rate, international shipping is available at cost.
