Description: CASH094 RARE China 1912 10 Cash in Brass. NGC AU Details. NGC label it Y-301 but I believe this is brass not copper so it is Y-301a; CCC-656; cf.Duan-3163; CL-MG.33; cf.W-989 (G-12). Double border of beads and solid line. Not listed in Woodward as being struck in brass and as such presumable EXTREMELY RARE. Zhou Qinyuan and Li Ping Wen authors of "Concise Catalogue of Modern Chinese Copper Coins" believe that these pieces are patterns rather than a circulation issue. An interesting piece fully deserving of further in depth research. Good strike with moderate signs of circulation. Krause catalogue did not list any price information on this coin because it is so rare. Shipping for US will be free with tracking. International will use eBay international shipping program.
