Description: Great looking folk Drumming grouse decorative decoy carving by Carl Forslund. There were offered in both a painted and cherry finish, this is the cherry. Stands roughly 7" tall. Great vintage primitive folk art piece. Very hard to find Forslund bird. Ive collected these birds for over 25 years and have only had a few of these. Made from l as minated cherry, with the joints more obvious across the back. Carl Forslund made roughly 20 different species .Excellent condition. Circa 1960's. I have several more Forslund birds available so be sure to check my listings. Great price for any Hunter, or for county charm in your home or cabin.
