Description: Carl Tielsch CT Altwasser Hand Colored Floral Porcelain Coffee Pot C.1870-1900 Antique coffee pot marked CT under a bird holding what appears to be a staff. This mark was used by Carl Tielsch in Altwasser Germany between 1870 - 1900, but the form of the pot suggests it is likely 1870s - 1880s. It has hand colored blue, pink and and brown flowers. The matching lid is also hand painted with the same floral designs. Has some wear to the gold gilding and floral design, but is in otherwise excellent condition. Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches tall including the lid x 8 1/4 inches wide from spout to handle. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. CX
