Description: This is a well worn 1935 $1 Banknote that, in this condition, is probably a $45 note. The note has expected folds and a couple small tears around the perimeter. However, the back of the note is more problematic. There is discoloration at the center from what appears to be an old piece of tape but most obvious is the writing. It says :" From Uncle Zigu Haber To Powell Robert Isaacs. November 9th 1945"It is interesting to note this inscription was added 79 years ago and to speculate who the two people were and the reason for the gift. Perhaps a birthday. Needless to say it does devalue the note and has been priced accordingly. (Unless of course you know who Uncle Zigu and Robert were in which case the note would be priceless.)
