The camera uses a 16-mm non-perforated or perforated photo or film in a plastic cassette from the Vega-2 camera, which looks like a 110 cassette. The cassette is designed for 25 frames of 13 × 17 mm in size. Film rewinding is not possible. It is possible to change the cassette at any time, while only a small part of the film (about 20 mm) was illuminated. The inner casing is metal, similar to the casing of the Kiev-30 camera. In the inner light-tight housing there is a lens, a shutter, a film rewind mechanism. In the external removable plastic casing, the viewfinder is in the transport position, the casing closes the shutter button, shutter, lens and focus ring. The cocking of the shutter and rewinding of the film is carried out by sliding-extending the inner body of the camera into the casing. The shutter is curtain, with horizontal movement of metal curtains. Located in front of the lens. The shutter has a constant slit, the shutter speed is controlled by changing the speed of the curtains. Compared to the Kiev-30 camera, the shutter speed was changed to 1/30, 1/60, 1/125 and 1/250 seconds (a fourth shutter speed was added). When cocked, a red mark is visible on the curtain. Setting the shutter speed - a ring brought to the side wall of the camera. The frame counter is automatic with manual installation in the initial position when charging the film. The viewfinder is frame, sighting is possible only with the hood extended. The lens "Industar-M", enlightened, relative aperture 1: 3,5, focal length 23 mm. The diaphragm is two-petalled, with a square aperture. Management - a ring brought to the side wall of the camera. There is no tripod socket.
