Description: Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a beautiful contemporary Art Glass vase with controlled bubbles made by Buzz Blodgett, signed and dated 2001. The glass is thick walled and has unusual Alexandrite coloration with controlled bubbles across the bottom of the vase and floating upward. Waldo L. "Buzz" Blodgett III learned glass blowing from his father at a young age and in 1987 he took over operation of the Blodgett Glass Studio in California. His work has been featured at the Corning Museum and is found in galleries around the country including New York. Measures 6 1/4" high with a top opening of about 2" and an overall width of 3". Weighs 1.7 pounds.
