Description: From my private collection!Original antique, Circa 1910 Uranium UG Custard Glass Slim Drinking Mug. Manufactured by the The Jefferson Glass Company....Follansbee, West Virginia. Custard Glass: as the name implies, is more yellowish than milky & is opaque. Uranium was added as a colourant to make it pale yellow. And, YES, it glows under UV light! This particular custard glass piece is shown in Jefferson's Ring and Beads Pattern & is nicely decorated with hand-painted pastel pink & blue flowers & dainty green leaves. Mug measures 4 inches tall & 2 3/8 inches in diameter across top edge (NOT including handle).EXCELLENT CONDITION after 110+ years....with NO chips or cracks.A darling piece that will display well.*PLEASE NOTE: I am happy to combine shipping when you buy more than one item!
