Quarto, unpaginated, approx. 330 pages, original semi liml black leatherette with gilt decoration. All edges gilt. On the front free endpaper there is a blind-stamped seal that reads "Lodge Greyfriars / No. 1221 / Glasgow / Founded 1920". It appears that this book was created around the time of the founding of the lodge, most likely by the Lodge Master. Text on the rectos only. There are approx. 186 handwritten pages and approx. 40 pages that are reproduced from a typescript, the remaining pages are blank. The text provides comprehensive details on the ritual initiations for the three degrees of Masonry within the Lodge, along with related content such as the Charges and descriptions of the jewels and tools.
