This is a "William Tell" deck of cards featuring the German suits: hearts, acorns, leaves, and bells. The aces feature the different seasons of the year, so these are sometimes referred to as "Four Seasons" decks as well. This deck of cards dates to the period of 1900-1920 based on the Austrian tax stamp on the 7 of bells. SIZE: The cards measure 2 5/8" by 4 1/4" CONDITION: This is an INCOMPLETE deck with only 31 of the 32 cards. One of the face cards from the leaves suit is missing. The cards are in very good overall condition for their age. Only one of the cards has a crease (at the corner, see last photo). No staining, no water damage, no writing, no pin holes, no tears.
