Bunn - TB3 - 3 Gallon Iced Tea Brewer - Mostly Functional But Selling For Parts

Description: This listing is for one Bunn TB3 tea brewer with brew basket. This unit has new silicone gaskets/seals on the boiler tank. The thermostat for the boiler tank looks brand new, but I can’t confirm as I didn’t put it on myself. Brew basket is in great shape as the photo shows. Also included is an owners/installation manual with a Bunn spring and the connection to hook up the unit to a water line. I am selling this as is for repair or parts. It does brew, and the boiler tank does heat up. The reason for selling this brewer for repair or parts is that there is an intermittent issue of the water from the dilution nozzle not stopping when it should. This was noted after replacing the gaskets/seals and then bench testing it. The first four times, it brewed as it should and the dilution nozzle put out the correct amount. The next time, the dilution nozzle did not stop and I had to turn off the unit and shut off the incoming water to make the dilution fill stop before it overflowed the test tea shuttle (NOT INCLUDED) that I was brewing into. It brewed correctly on the next two cycles , but the dilution nozzle failed to shut off on the next test cycle. This is might be the fill solenoid or what Bunn calls a valve kit, which is part 43041.000 or it could also be the control board, or dual timer according to Bunn, which is part 40384.1000. I don’t have the time or energy to throw parts at this unit. The price I am asking barely covers the parts and time I put on it. The front left top of the unit has also been bent down as can be seen in the photos. Unit will be shipped in an original factory Bunn tea machine box that I had from another piece of equipment. This is a BIG box, so shipping isn’t cheap, but I don’t make any money on shipping. I actually lose money on it because it counts towards the total value that I pay a percentage on.
