This Nang Tra amulet that was found in the excavated crypt are in the Srivijaya style of Buddhist art from the middle period, dating back to around 1500-1600 CE. They were made before the Lavo or Lopburi Kingdoms. The bronze amulet is dark brown with image of the miraculous triangle mold, the prang arch mold, has the 'large Naga Parak mold', which is a rectangular-shaped Buddha image with the principal Buddha image sitting in meditation, showing the Naga Parak posture. It has a special feature that there is a smaller Buddha image under the Naga base. The Nang Tra amulets have the virtues of loving-kindness and excellent invulnerability. Importantly, there are not many amulets found in the excavated crypts.
