Description: Name/Genus: Aechmea Goldmine. Hybrid by Chester Skotak. Facts: Mature, open, huge rosette to over 1 meter diameter x 85 cm. high. Full rosette with up-reaching, mid-green leaves centrally striped creamy yellow. No typical blanchetiana bronze coloring on mature foliage. However, some bronzing is on leaf margins and tips plus on offsets. Erect, well-branched spike to 1.5 meters of burnished orange bracts and sepals, plus yellow flowers. This auction is for a beautiful, Aechmea Goldmine offset/pup, as shown in pictures, still attached to mother plant (similar, not actual). Offsets will detached from mother plant prior shipping and will have very little to NO roots.
