Featuring a plush duck feather inner and a hidden zip, this item stands out as something special in a home setting. This item is made from transport grade material and is therefore extremely hard-wearing and resistant to spills and stains. By its nature, moquette is a heavy fabric with a wonderfully tactile texture that has to be felt to be believed. About the Design This design was introduced in the early 1960’s, and first appeared in the electric multiple unit trains which were being introduced in large numbers as part of British Railways 1955 Modernisation Plan. Subsequently it was applied to many locomotive-hauled coaches during overhauls.
