Description: Bristol by Foster 1940s/50s expanding watch band, new in retail pack. 10K gold filled top and stainless steel bottom. Appx 5 1/2" long and will stretch to around 10 inches. Straight ends are for 3/4”, 19mm lugs. In new, unworn condition but will need a light cleaning or buff from being stored many years. Package shows wear. Sold in "as found" condition. Gold filled was a process where sheets of gold were bonded to a center of base metal under high heat and pressure. The US standard was min 5% gold.
