Description: For sale is a Vintage Brilhart Hard Rubber Mouthpiece for the tenor sax, refaced by martin spivack aka HornedToadMusic to a .098" or a modern 7 ($150 dollar value). Cosmetically, the mouthpiece shows some wear on the font as well as oxidation on the shank. Structurally, the mouthpiece is excellent, with no cracks or chips at all. The sound is reminiscent of a slant sig that is brighter and with more sizzle in the higher register (that baffle though!!). The piece is responsive throughout the entire range of the horn.
