Description: This is a really cool Breitling Colt from the late 1970s-early 1980s. Probably made between 1979-1982. This is a rare piece--usually Breitling ref. 11068 were "insignia" watches issued to various branches of the Italian armed forces. These insignia pieces have little logos on their dials indicating which branch they were issued to. I have yet to find another Breitling-only branded piece like this. This watch is identical to the Heuer 1000s sold at the time. Both this watch and the Heuers used the same Monin made cases and dials. This watch is in pretty good condition. It keeps time well and the dial and crystal are excellent. The gold is slightly worn on the bezel and underside of the watch, though it is not super noticeable. The gold coating on the crown is a bit flaked on the underside, but not noticeable from a distance. The watch band is an older Horween shell cordovan piece that I like a lot as well. Please message me with any additional questions. I will cover shipping and it will be insured.
