Description: The Thanksgiving auction was good to me! I purchased a box lot, around 30 pounds of vintage and fashion jewelry and this gorgeous brass plate or photo/art display stand was in the box. Heavy, so that was a bummer, but this is really very nice and I'm sure someone will want it. It stands about 6.5" tall so a plate or photo with a taller dimension will fit just fine, just not double the height or more as that would be so large as to topple it. It will hold a larger plate, at least 8" (it opens to around 7") and again don't put something close to double or over the width as the stand wasn't designed to hold something that large. This is well made, nice hinges with brass screws, Has a made in China sticker. This is a heavy display stand. What a nice gift to go with a photo in a frame or a collectible plate!
