Description: Excellent condition brass doorknocker made in 1970 in Israel with the Christian fish symbol(Greek letters) engraved into the classic fish shape and filled with colored enamel. Wrought brass oval backpiece and two screws to fasten to door. This vintage item was popular in the 1970's and the symbol could be seen on doors, walls and even bumper stickers. The reverse side is a darker tone but without any rough area, and is still glossy, so if it looks like rust, it is not. This may even have not been used before. Fabulous gift for Christmas or Housewarming for a Christian who wants to show their faith. 4 inches long by 3.75 inches wide and weighs 6.6 ounces
