These boys had a truly superb voices and are testament to the fact that American boys were once trained in the traditional HEAD TONE techniques, not the injurious chest tones taught today.. They deserves to be heard again on disk. The quality very good. A must for the historian and the collector of boy soprano record. This disk is so rare that some of the track list is at present largely unidentified. If you can help identify some of the tracks, please contact me. These tracks were recorded LIVE in concert, mainly onto tape but some really early ones onto direct disc. The quality of the many soloists is SUPERB and should be a lesson for today's choir directors.
