The Bolens Part number for this belt is 1720573 These belts are made of heavy duty Aramid (Kevlar) material that is heat and oil resistant, which interestingly is the same material used in making bullet proof vests. These belts come in a matched set which means they are cut from the same lot which ensures they are exactly the same size. Many times the off the shelf belts you can get at your local store are not from the same lot which means the belts can be slightly different in size. If the belts are not exactly the same size there is a good chance the belts will not run evenly when engaged. These will fit models that used part number 1720573: 1225,1256,1257,1556, H14,H16 These belts are made in the USA and will outlast any foreign belt you buy at your auto parts/ Hardware store!!!
