HE WAS THE 1959 AMERICAN LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR--WAS ALSO A 3-TIME ALL-STAR. ALLISON APPEARED IN 1,541 GAMES; KNOCKED 256 HOME RUNS AND RETIRED WITH A BATTING AVERAGE OF .255. ALLISON HIT 35 HOME RUNS IN 1963; DROVE IN OVER 100 RUNS 2 TIMES; LED THE AMERICAN LEAGUE IN RUNS SCORED IN 1963-WITH 99. BOB ALLISON DIED APRIL 9, 1995.
