The press operation is a critical step in eliminating the notorious VANOS rattle that plagues so many cars. Designed in house to our exacting standards, our proprietary tool is precision machined from heat treated alloy steel and black oxide coated to withstand the rigors of hundreds of rebuilds. While other available tools bend the contact pins, our tool was designed to properly compress the VANOS housing without bending the pins, minimizing the risk for damage.
