Description: This rectangular vegetable bowl measures 9x7” and was made in the 1920s using the transferware process. This is where the pattern was transferred from an engraved, inked copper plate to a sheet of paper, then applied to the unfired bowl. This was a painstaking process. As you’d expect of pieces this age, there are some glaze “pops” and blue transfer smudges ( see pictures) but the bowl is in excellent condition and very collectible.
