Description: - This wallet is handmade from Italian leather from the La Bretagna Tannery in Tuscany, Italy. This leather is difficult to obtain and available in limited quantity. I am fortunate to obtain some from one of my trusted USA suppliers. - La Bretagna is renowned for leather used in high end products. The tannery uses traditional methods of vegetable tanning with tree barks. This tanning method goes back 100's of years. - This is a full grain, full aniline leather that feels great in hand and will develop an amazing patina as it ages. This leather is not as initially stiff as my usual vegetable tanned cowhide products; but, has excellent structure. - Wallet is ALL Italian leather (except thread) - Exterior Leather is tannery dyed ROYAL BLUE - Interior leather pockets are tannery dyed CHESTNUT BROWN.- Black leather edge sealant applied.- Dimensions when closed; nominally 3"x4" - readily fits in most shirt and pants pockets, clutch purse, small handbag, etc. - TWO (2) slots. Slots can hold more than one card as well as folded cash - Hand-stitched with ROYAL BLUE thread. - Leather may have natural imperfections enhanced by being full aniline. - Item is completely handcrafted and ships from my mountain shop in Pennsylvania, USA.
