Back By Popular Demand: We have been using this patched ball lube in our muzzleloaders since 2014 with great results. In the past I had purchased mass produced bullet lube, as I shoot black powder muzzleloaders pretty often, and the big name brands always seemed to have a strong wintergreen or sulfur smell. I wanted something low odor with excellent lubricating properties that would also make barrel cleaning easier. We developed this lube with natural ingredients that are non-corrosive, non-chemical, and no real odor. My formula contains no animal fats, such as mink oil or bear oil, so it won't go rancid and stink over time. This is a multi-purpose compound. Developed as a bullet lube for patched round balls, it also serves other purposes. I condition leather with it when making pouches and knife sheaths, lightly rub it on the outside of my rifle for protection after wiping all the grime and fingerprints off after a day in the field, and have even used it on dry skin patches. In fact, one of my farm market customers buys it for the purpose of dry skin on his hands and arms. We've been selling this product at farm markets and local weekend events for a few years now with a great amount of positive feedback, so we decided it was time to give it a go online in about 2018.
