Description: This rare, OOP book from special effects makeup legend Tom Savini is a must have for horror movie fans. It covers Savinis life from childhood, to his time as a combat photographer in Vietnam, to king of gore in the 70's & 80's. Savini spills the beans on how some of his biggest and best gore effects were achieved in such classics as Maniac, Dawn Of The Dead (1978), Friday The 13th, Martin, and Creepshow. This book is in very good condition, considering it's age and rarity. It does have some wear and tear, but no rips, or missing pages. Included is an 8 1/2 X 11 color photo autographed by Savini for me at the 2013 Wizard World Comic Con here in Philly. Savini signed his name with a silver Sharpie in the top left corner.
