This 8671HS tape from 3M is specifically designed for outdoor use so that it stays attached throughout all weather and remains totally clear and resistant to yellowing. A thick (0.36mm) protective polyurethane film with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The tape is totally clear (after removal of the white easy-release paper liner) and will virtually disappear on application. Perfect for protecting wear areas on your bike such as around the chainstay and under cables. This is the highest quality exterior grade tape available and is a simple way of protecting precious surfaces from corrosion, abrasion & minor impacts. Beware of cheaper versions that are for indoor use or not as transparent. (PLEASE NOTE: Optimum bond strength is achieved when application temperature is between 13 °C and 38 °C and the bond is allowed to dwell 72 hours.
