Well made homemade guitar. I have consulted with a few experts and the consensus is that this was made in the early to mid 1950s. Needs new strings but holds tuning decent. Was able to tune it to a half step down but the strings wouldn't stretch enough for higher tuning. The back panel is coming detached a bit. The intonation is close to being proper. Birdseye maple top, 3 piece body. Not sure about the other wood types. The pickup has been tested and is working currently, needs a piece of wire between the pickup and pot as it is deteriorated.
