A high content of silica allows for a high polish, and layers of Iron and Manganese make wonderful "landscape" scenes not found in other Jaspers. Ready to display as is or make a dozen or more amazing cabochons from this one slab. It is the perfect thickness for cab work at .25 inches. It was mined years ago and rough material is now difficult to obtain. Biggs Jasper polishes with diamond, cerium or tin oxide. Mohs hardness is 7.
