Of all of the shells I used to find shell collecting from shore, the leviteni cone was by far one of the more exciting to find, not only because the shell could sting you, but also because it was such a beautiful shell fresh out of the water! Perhaps it's the tent markiings, I don't know, but I always loved finding one. And we used to keep a couple of live ones in our aquarium, simply because they were by far the best way to clean other shells, especially small cowries. And since cleaning cowries by other methods was slow and potentially damaging to the shell, well, nothing beat a pennaceous cone for convenience and safety. . Anyhow, as the video shows, this beauty, even with its imperfect crown and the repair by its mouth, both normal for this species, is in great condition, (especially for one collected from shore!), and is a terrific beauty that will look fantastic sitting on your shelf!A great addition for a first-class collection. As for normal disclaimers, we do the best we can with photos, but color is tricky, especially since cell phone cameras automatically lean towards flesh-tone coloring, (that's why so many of the photos of shells on eBay show up with more orange than is really there, the camera changes the color, and damm if I can figure out how to stop that from happening, but I try, honest!As for feedback, as your know, sellers live and die by the feedback you leaved, (please leave fives!) so if you have a problem, just let me know!
