Description: This is part of my High Cotton Collection. All fabrics have been chosen for their matte/flat finishes which is desired for outdoor filming. Most of the items in this collection are 100% cotton or very close to it. I commonly get fabrics from warehouses and outlets and frequently the details of the fiber content isn't available. I have over 40 years experience working with fabrics so I feel I have a good sense of the fiber content of a piece of fabric. Fiber content will be noted in the description when precisely known. This adult size large Bible era costume includes a 100% cotton light aqua-blue tunic, a 100% cotton striped sleeveless coat, a cotton cord tie belt, and an ivory headcover with an attached cotton tie that has simple torn edges for a rustic, rugged look. The tie is to be tied on over the headcover like a sweatband, or ladies often prefer to tie it at the back under their hair. As no respectable lady would ever leave her house without her head covered! NOTE : Cotton is famous for wrinkling, shrinking and colors running in the wash. Please be aware that this could happen. The loose-fitting tunic is about 64 and 1/2 inches long from shoulder to hem and ample enough for a 48" chest. Occasionally some fabrics may have minor imperfections that cannot be seen by an audience. These are not considered defects since the clothing in Bible times were all homespun and naturally had imperfections. The costume is not flame retardant. Comes from a smoke-free home.
