Description: Douglas Blue Feather: Douglas Blue Feather is an internationally known recording artist and performer of music featuring the Native American flute and is recognized as one of the most accomplished and prolific flutists of today. His ancestry includes American Indian, Iberian, and European. In 2016 Chief Golden Light Eagle adopted him into the Yankton Sioux Nation of South Dakota. As of 2024 he has released 23 albums which have been heard on radio and TV music channels worldwide including Native Radio, Tidal, Pandora, iHeart Radio, One World Music Radio, New Age Notes Radio, Radio Airplay, Soundscape, Sirius, iTunes, Spotify, and many others. As a multi-national award winner, the highlights of Douglas' career include winning 15 national and international music awards, including the Native American Music Awards, the Indian Summer Music Awards, the Native American Style Flute Awards, the Global Music Awards, and the Visionary Music Awards. In total, Douglas has received over 65 various award nominations and has been a voting member of the Grammys in the Producers & Engineers Wing since 2007.
