Description: See Video: https://youtu.be/F2tRsysz7E0 Appreciate for the following information:'BVG' stands for 'Bochumer Verein für Bergbau und Gußstahlfabrikation' which was a company for cast steel products in the German city of Bochum. The first steel bell from this company was casted around 1845. The form of this bell makes it most likely to be a church bell We got this from a seller who owned it for more than 20 years at West Sussex, United Kingdom who told us this is from a Chruch. The bell has lovely patine and we've cleaned it just with water and oil. The diameter says 17 1/2" and height (bell only) says 17". Messy weight around 46Kg which can be hold up by a strong man. Some corrosion parts which could be seen in the images, no crack on the mouth. Original cast iron clapper which move straight line instead of 360Deg. Lovely sound can be listened from the video, just like the Sunday bell calling from Chruch. Such item does not often come out for sale in market, mostly collectors won't be selling them and this is the first time we got such cast iron bell while dealing more than 10 years in antique. We ship worldwide and shipping various, please message us for details. Regarding packing, we know that cast iron do break and we promised to pack the best with images showing process of packing after buying, we will show buyer before agree to dispatch for the best service from us.
