You're looking at a SUPERB condition 2 Compact Disc Set which is OUT OF PRINT and a magnificent and historic 1938 Carnegie Hall Jazz Concert headlined by BENNY GOODMAN on clarinet and titled "Benny Goodman at Carnegie Hall"--the concert was produced by JOHN HAMMOND and in addition to Goodman features HARRY JAMES, COOTIE WILLIAMS, BOBBY HACKETT and BUCK CLAYTON on trumpet, COUNT BASIE, JESS STACY and TEDDY WILSON on piano, GENE KRUPA on drums, LIONEL HAMPTON on vibraphone, LESTER YOUNG on tenor saxophone, and many others. The album was issued by Columbia Records in the "Columbia Jazz Masterpieces" series, is a MONO issue as originally recorded and was made in the United States in the 1980s.This 2 Compact Disc Set is in SUPERB condition and the two discs play PERFECTLY and are in FLAWLESS condition except for a couple of barely visible very slight scuffs on the first disc that do not affect play; the jewel case has just some very light scuffs and a very small factory sticker on the lower right corner of the front surface and no other significant flaws, and the booklet is in FLAWLESS shape--it's NOT a cutout!A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this 2 CD Set!Thanks very much for looking, and good luck if you're bidding!
