Description: This is a Beaver Valley bear by Kaylee Nilan from 1995. Her name is Catherine and she is an Artist Proof bear. Signed on her right foot by Kaylee and marked as Artist Proof. She sits 18 inches tall and is fully jointed. Her mouth is articulated so you can open and close it. I was a dealer for Beaver Valley Bears when I owned a bear shop for 23 years. They were my absolute favorite bears and other creations. I wrote an article about Kaylee and Beaver Valley for one of the bear magazines at that time (Teddy Bear and Friends). A wonderful person and one of the most creative souls I have met in my lifetime. I cherish Catherine, but thought another collector should have a chance to enjoy her. Never exposed to smoke, perfume, or scent of any kind.
