Description: GORGEOUS ANTIQUE SWIVEL BANKERS OFGICE CHAIR MADE BY MILWAUKEE CHAIR COMPANY Patent date Oct, 20, 1914 BEAUTIFUL CAST IRON HARDWARE DESIGN DETAILS THE HEIGHT ADJUSTER WORKS GREST, just pull the lever out & rotate the adjustment gear & the chair goes up or down with ease THERE IS A KNOB UNDER THE SEAT TO ADJUST THE SPRING TENSION THE ROUND KNOB ON THE BACK IS TO ADJUST THE HEIGHT OF THE BACKREST ROCK SOLID BUILT LIKE A BATTLESHIP BEAUTIFUL PATINA RESTORATION DETAILS: I touched up the chair finish which had lots of nicks & scratches. I replaced the leather bumper cord which goes around 3 sides of the seat edge, the old leather was completely gone except for about 3 inches which just crumbled when touched. I tightened every screw on the chair & installed new round head wood plugs on the seat backrest. I replaced the completely worn out original caster wheels with a restored antique set of wood caster wheels Easy to read makers marks on the cast iron hardware DIMENSIONS….inches Height…floor to top backrest..35”(of course it changes with seat height adjustment & the knob on the backside which adjusts the backrest height) Seat width…16.5” Seat depth…14.5” Seat Back width…14” All the best, Bryan SHIPPING… I will build a custom plywood shipping crate, this chair is very heavy & needs the ultimate in shipping protection!
